As we previously mentioned, folks who purchased the Samsung Fascinate from Verizon might have noticed that the phone comes standard with Bing instead of Google, and getting the Google Search application installed isn't like taking a stroll in the park. This is due to Verizon and Microsoft entering a multi-device deal to promote Bing. While it probably isn't a deal breaker to most, it might be irritating to folks who prefer Google's search engine to Bing, though there is some good news today. According to a Verizon Wireless spokesperson, when the Fascinate is updated to Android 2.2, users will be able to download the Google Search application to get easy access to Google's search, though the downside is that users will still be unable to change the default search setting from Bing to Google, while the search button will continue to trigger a Bing search. Bummer.

HTC EVO 4G has an impressive specs list: 4.3 inch WVGA display, eight megapixel camera which can record 720p HD videos, WiMAX compatibility and HDMI-out jack. If this doesn't impressive then the tag of being the first 4G phone ever surely will. To start off, we really liked the packaging of this phone. You might not care much about this but we still want to mention it here. The box looks a lot like microwaveable meal and feels like steam will come out of it, if you peel off the cover.

The Toshiba Folio is now official, following the trail of Samsung Galaxy Tab. Here are the official details:
Running Android 2.2, powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2, this tablet has a 10.1-inch 1,024 x 600 multitouch display and the usual networking options: Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, wireless 802.11 b/g/n and, like the iPad, 3G connectivity in some of its models. Unlike the iPad—the inevitable standard reference—the Toshiba Folio has already a webcam, a mini HDMI port, USB 2.0 (it can be both client and host) and SD/MMC card reader built-in.
